Hi Jennifer
You will want this story, for certain. It is about a missing persons case of about 18 young Native women disappearing off highway 16 West in the past decade. No body has ever been found. The mounting toll of missing persons has hardly caught the attention of anybody.
Tomorrow I will visit the Prince George Friendship Centre. I will obtain suitable background about the case. It has been called THE HIGHWAY OF TEARS lately. It shows no resolution in sight, although one report given to me by a police representative at the RCMP headquarters in PG said the suspicion falls on someone who owns a gold coloured old Pontiac automobile. I will have more for you tomorrow and a written story will be delivered by the end of the week.
